Joensuun höyläyspalvelu Oy merged with PrimaTimber Oy
Joensuun höyläyspalvelu Oy has merged with PrimaTimber Oy into one company as of 1 January 2020. After the merger, PrimaTimber Oy runs both an impregnation plant in Joensuu harbour and a planning factory in Karhumäki, Joensuu. Joensuun höyläyspalvelu specializes in strength graded building materials, such as planed spruce.
All partnership contracts will automatically be transferred to PrimaTimber Oy. After the merger, PrimaTimber Oy has 20 employees.
The merger has no implications to everyday operations and the same personnel continue in both customer service and in deliveries.
